Learning.

Growing up has many experiences and one of the main experiences to growing up and maturing is through the knowledge of competition. It is said by Fawley Kya (2009.) “It's impossible to protect your kids from competitivesituations, and you probably don't want to, anyway. Your child can learn somevaluable lessons from healthy competition that will serve him well as he getsolder. , competition can teach children to be mature and to learn to respect people.

It is able to teach the real world to children, so then they can learn to adapt to it, learning that life can be unfair sometimes. When there are team competitions it can bring teamwork and friendship among the members, so it is important to socialize as it is important for children’s futures, together you have a much higher chance of success, and they can also feel better about themselves in a cooperative environment.

It can help children think creatively to tackle a problem, so they are able to come up with a unique different solution. Children learning about competition can help them be more confident. So having kids compete against each other can make them try harder to succeed, if kids are trying and working harder, we will be to see positive results in their grades.

We should also teach our kids that winning isn’t everything, it depends on how much effort and determination you have put in and that you can use that effort and determination to succeed next time.

With competition it can teach the importance of being fair, it allows sportsmanship and respect to grow in children and to accept losses when it is fair, to not be a sore loser and accept that things don’t always go your way.
